The Creation: Created by Hermès perfumer Christine Nagel, Terre d’Hermès Eau de Parfum Intense reveals a deeper facet of the inner fire that animates the earth and man.

Olfactory Notes: Terre d’Hermès Eau de Parfum Intense is a deep, woody fragrance that combines lively bergamot with warm wood, underpinned by the mineral notes of intense lava stone.

The Object: The sides and H-shaped base of the bottle are presented in a reddish-brown lacquer with a molten look. The bottle is topped with a matte black metal cap that evokes lava stone.

The Ethics: The 100 ml and 50 ml bottles can be replenished using the 200 ml refill, sold separately. The bottle is made from glass and aluminum.

- Remove the cap from the Terre d’Hermès Eau de Parfum Intense bottle, then unscrew the pump.
- Pour in the contents of the refill, placing it vertically on top of the bottle and taking care not to overfill it.
- Screw the pump back on, then replace the cap to close the bottle.
